The commercial review appraiser position is responsible for engaging and reviewing appraisals and evaluations of commercial, residential, and agriculture related properties for bank and lending purposes. The reviewer will ensure compliance with Bank policies, Federal and State regulations including FIRREA and USPAP and will opine on the overall reasonableness and reliability of the reports received. Direct experience, knowledge and familiarity with a variety of property types is necessary, including office, retail, industrial, warehouse, hospitality, special purpose, residential, and agriculture.
Preferred geographical location for this position in Portland, OR. Depending on experience and qualifications, other locations within Heritage Bank's footprint in Oregon (i.e., Eugene, Hillsboro, Tigard) or Vancouver, WA may be considered.

L3 Valuation, a boutique commerical appraisal firm, is looking for a commercial appraiser and/or current registred appraiser assistant to assist with our Oregon and SW Washington workflow. Appraiser candidates should be a state certified appraiser with a minimum of 3 years of commercial appraisal experience. Appraiser assistant applicants should have their required 75 hours of education completed. Proficiency with MS Office (Word & Excel), strong analytical skills, and solid written and verbal communication skills required.
